The Alcantara group has partnered with Ayala Land for a Davao property project. The joint-venture deal is set to develop a 25-hectare property in Lanang into an integrated and mixed-use community.

Under the agreement, the Alcantara group will contribute the land and will hold the 40-percent interest in the project while Ayala Land will hold the 60 percent respectively.

The project will involve the development of residential and commercial lots, low to mid-rise towers and a retail component.

Ayala Land already has an existing mixed-use project in Davao known as Abreeza, which is a partnership with Anflo Management and Investment Corp.

Ayala is aggresively expanding their business in the Philippines. The latest news I have read is that they are also going to invest Php 15 billion property project in Iloilo.

I am glad Davao is attracting more investment especially in the property sector.

Right now, Ayala has condo projects in the city like Avida, Abrezza Residences and Abreeza Place.

This partnership will surely create more economic activity in Davao. Go Davao!

I hope other real estate developers in Manila will follow and put up investments in Davao.

I am looking forward for Megaworld and Rockwell.

Hey! I heard Robinsons Land already bought the property in Bajada (former Coca Cola warehouse). Hope they will develop the area into a mixed-use development project.
