The Board of Investments (BOI) has recently approved the solar energy project of Philnewenergy, a joint venture between Ayala and Mitsubishi Corp.
The said plant will rise in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur and will produce 35 megawatts (MW) of electricity yearly.

The Alcantara group has partnered with Ayala Land for a Davao property project. The joint-venture deal is set to develop a 25-hectare property in Lanang into an integrated and mixed-use community.
