XOXO which means “hugs and kisses” features straight-off-the-runway dresses, outerwear, handbags and many more. It launched its first store in Greenbelt 3 in November 2009. Final Hearing on Proposed Coal Power Plant Set on May 6
Comments: No CommentsThe city council of Davao is scheduled to convene this coming May 6 for the final hearing of the proposed coal-fired power plant by Aboitiz in Davao. The proposal sparked debate among the people of Davao since it came out. Many people believe especially environmentalists that the project will be harmful to the health and to the environment. Aboitiz company on the other hand, assures the people of Davao that the proposed power plant project will be utilizing new technologies to minimize the harmful effects of the project to the environment. The public hearing on Friday, May 6 will be the third and probably the last.
The proposed power plant project is expected to worth Php 25 billion making it the biggest single investment in Davao once the project is approved. Abreeza Mall Readies for Opening

Abreeza is a mixed-use development project which includes a mall, hotel, residential and office buildings. Accendo is the company who will run the operations of the mall project. As of to date, the commercial spaces inside the mall are almost leased out with Robinsons Department Store as the biggest locator.
Multi-billion Medical and Wellness Complex to Rise in Davao City
Comments: 2 CommentsA multi-billion medical and wellness complex is envisioned to be built in Davao. This was revealed by an industry group official. The said project entails Php 5 billion and will include a hotel, medical tower, a commercial complex and other related businesses and will rise on a 10-hectare property in the southern part of the city.
This positive news came after groups of hospital owners, together with the Philippine Retirement Authority, Davao Investment and Promotions Center, Philippine Medical Association held a meeting and optimistically decided on the project.
Aboitiz to Use Seawater for Coal Power Plant
Comments: 9 CommentsThe Aboitiz Power Corp. is seriously considering the use of seawater as a requirement for its proposed coal-fired power plant in Davao. The company is studying all means to ensure the plant will not create any inconvenience to the people. Instead of using fresh water, the proposed coal-fired power plant will be utilizing desalinated water.
The proposed facility will take seawater and discharge it at high pressure. The desalinated water will complement the water requirement to run the power plant without seriously affecting the fresh water sources in the area. Read the rest of this entry »
