Davao is Second Quickest to Allow Start of Business in the Philippines
Comments: 4 CommentsGetting business permits in Davao City is the second quickest in the Philippines. This is according to the Doing Business Survey 2011 which covers 25 major Philippine cities.
The survey focuses on national and local regulations that affect three areas of business namely starting a business, property registration and dealing with construction permits.
The local government of Davao created new policies to cater the needs of most new small and medium businesses. One is the issuance of a temporary business permit where a start-up business can use for one month while the business permit is being processed.
Rationalizing processes to make business start-ups easier is very helpful to local businesses as this could save time and monetary resources.
Aside from business permit and licensing, Davao also topped in dealing with construction permits in the country.

I hope we can make the business license processing even faster. We should take off those no longer needed so it would be to do business in the city. We can also make of the Internet technology to update/renew or apply for a business license.

Ang galing ng Davao. Proud to be a Dabawenyo. Hope makauwi na ako dyan. Miss Davao. Suggest lang sana unahin ang Samal bridgeat di lang basta basta na bridge ang gawin, yung design talaga na makaakit ng tao. Mark my words there will be more progress sa city…
