The Mt. Apo Boulder Face Challenge is one of the toughest adventure races in the Philippines. It is a 24-hour adventure challenge covering four disciplines like mountain biking, white water tubing, trekking, and road running.
Last year, Team Carmen of Davao del Norte won the First International Mount Apo Boulder Face Challenge besting 18 local and foreign teams.

Aeon Towers Davao

Davao has fast becoming a spot of robust condominium development with the big names in the real estate industry are already establishing their presence in the city.

The latest is a Davao-based developer known as FTC Group of Companies that intends to build a high-rise and luxurious condominium building in Davao known as Aeon Towers.

The Aeon Towers will rise along Bajada just beside the Abreeza Mall and touted to be future of condominium living in Davao.

The Aeon Towers’ height is originally planned at 45 floors but it was reduced to 34 due to height restriction imposed by the Air Transportation or ATO for building structures in Davao. The planned building location is under flight path.

At 34 storeys high, it will soon become the tallest building in Davao. It will replace Marco Polo Hotel as the tallest which hold the record for a long time. With its iconic structure, it will certainly become a new landmark of Davao City once completed.

The owner of Aeon Towers is also the owner of some popular establishments in Davao namely GreenWindows Dormitel, Smash Ville Fitness Center and Matina South Health Studio, Center Point Plaza and FTC Tower.

The company further said that they are very eager to put up more investments especially for business that is not yet present in Davao. In fact, the company is mulling to build another high-rise building in Davao which is taller and grander than Aeon Towers.

Aeon Towers is being developed as a high-end project complete with prime amenities and a majestic view of Davao Gulf and Mt. Apo. It will be built near the Abreeza Mall. The construction will start at first quarter of 2012, and projected time of turnover will be on first quarter of 2016.

Aeon Towers condominium is a luxurious condominium project with about 600 residential units. Aside from residential units, the building will also feature a 5-star hotel and commercial spaces. It is definitely a nice skyscraper in Davao City to watch out for.

It will offer state-of-the-art amenities like Wi-Fi Internet connection, social function rooms, fitness hub, spa, jogging path, recreation facilities and many more.

Aeon Towers is designed to be environment-friendly. The exterior of the building will be made of special cut glasses to save energy costs. It also has ultraviolet protective tint for sun rays, sound proof glasses and open space in the middle for ventilation. The building is also equipped with a lightning transistor.

Aeon Towers will be one of the first condominium buildings in the Philippines that will offer the Smart Home Technology, a technology that used to make home electronic devices to act “smart” or more automated. With this technology, the building will have a network and cable design that can convert a regular home to a fully automated one suited to the taste of the condo unit owner.

Most importantly, Aeon Towers will have top-of-the-line safety features that include an advanced fire protection, alarm and sprinkler systems, 24-hour security camera, reliable back-up power supply and high-speed passenger elevators. The condo also features a sky deck view, helipad and infinity pool. It will also feature a LED light that can be seen at night.

The Aeon Towers project is another testament of the glory business confidence in Davao property sector.

The condo project bested the one-day sales records of two of Alveo Land’s signature project namely Two Serendra in Bonifacio Global City and Venare in Nuvali, Laguna with 700 million and 850 million pesos in sales respectively.

Now you can own a prime lot at the heart of Davao City as Ayala Land unveils its first condominium project in Davao known as Abreeza Residences through its subsidiary Alveo Land. Alveo is a real estate arm of Ayala and targeting middle-income earners. Ayala currently has three real estate arms namely Ayala Land Premier, Alveo and Avida.

Abreeza Residences will rise within the Abreeza complex, a 10-hectare mixed-use development with hotel, commercial, office and residential component. The project is a joint venture by Ayala Land and Floirendo-owned company Anflocor.

Abreeza Residences is a 26-storey condominium building and will become one of the tallest buildings in Davao City once completed. The construction will start next month is expected to be completed in the next three years.

The condominium building will have 243 units of which 51 units are studio type, 116 are single bedroom, 50 units for twin bedroom, 12 units two-bedroom executive and upper penthouse, 9 units of three-bedroom executive and upper penthouse and 4 premier penthouse units which will be located at the 26th floor. Among the amenities includes a fitness hub, leisure pool, scenic verandas and themed function rooms. The building is also equipped with 24-hour Wi-Fi connection.

Since it is located inside the Abreeza complex, the condominium is very accessible to business establishments, private and government offices and prime schools in Davao.
