Davao Cited As One of the Asian Cities of the future

In the recent survey conducted by the Finance Direct Investment (FDI) magazine of the Financial Times Group, Davao has chosen as one of the Asian cities of the future.  Among the qualities considered in the survey are the quality of life, availability of human resources and the cost of doing business. The result of the said survey is a positive indication of the growing confidence of International business community to the city of Davao.

Other Philippince cities namely Quezon City ande Cebu City also included in the top ten. Progressive cities like Singapore and Hongkong also made it in the list.

Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS) is situated 15 minutes travel by a motorized banca from Davao City. This tremendously beautiful island is a part of Davao del Norte. The City is comprised of three districts namely: Babak district, Peñaplata district and Kaputian district.

The place is blessed with natural endowment that each and every islanders should be proud of. Fertile soil that is rich in minerals are planted with different crops and tropical fruits. Davao City Gov’t Urged to Draw ICT Master Plan

Davao City is celebrating annually a festival of all festivals where flowers, fruits and talents are abundant and cultural heritage is empowered. Kadayawan Festival is one of its kind. Davao Named As One of the Best Cities for Business Process Outsourcing Investments

Davao once again proved its reputation as a viable outsourcing destination. This is according to the latest study conduced by XMG Global ICT Research and Advisory Service.

Pierre Boudreau, XMG Global public affairs Officer told that Business Process Outsourcing( BPO) executives and foreign researchers who were part of the International survey were very optimistic about the City of Davao as on Investment area for Business Process Outsourcing and other Information Technology-related investments. Ayala Mall to Rise at the Heart of Davao

Ayala Land Inc., one of the Philippines’ biggest land developers is set to develop a 3-Billion Peso Business Park and Mall project in Davao City. The Mall and business park will be located in a 9-hectare property land along J.P. Laurel Avenue, Bajada which is owned by the Floreindos.

The Mall and Business Park project is a joint venture between Ayala Land Inc. and Anflocor Investment and Development Company. This multi-billion peso project is also designed to cater business process outsourcing-related investments like call centers. Read the rest of this entry »
