Robinsons to Open Store Inside Abreeza Mall

The Robinsons Retail Group will infuse a fresh investment worth P800 million to put up store building inside the 10-hectare mixed-use Abreeza project. Abreeza is a development project of Ayala Land, Inc. and Anflo Management and Investment Corp.

Robinsons is going to build a separate four-storey structure with a basement and will invest P650 million to the building alone making it the single biggest locator inside the Abreeza Mall.

The commercial building will have a 2,000-square-meter floor area and set to house a supermarket, Department Store, Toys “R” Us, Robinsons Appliances, Handyman Do-It-Best Home Center, True Value, Handyman Do-It-Center, True Value, Topshop, Topman and Dorothy Perkins.

The company also operates Robinsons Cybergate, a two-level commercial building located in Lanang which house department store, restaurants, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) facilities and other retail shops.

The Robinsons store is expected to be opened when the first two floors of the building are completed in the second quarter of 2011 while the second phase which includes the third floor will be opened by the end of next year.

The entry of Robinsons is a clear indication of the growing interest of locators in the Abreeza Mall project.
