Seair Starts Davao–Manila Flight

It seems like Davao International Airport is getting busier and busier as more and more airline companies are opening new flights to Davao. The latest is Seair, the second oldest airline in the Philippines.

The airline is known as having pioneered the commercial flights to tourist destinations like Boracay and Batanes.

Just recently, the airline unveils the slogan “It’s more fun in the Philippines” on the fuselage of their aircrafts as a way of the helping the Philippine tourism.

South East Asian Airlines (Seair) held its inaugural flight at the Davao International Airport using its Airbus 320 plane.

The airline will be flying from Davao to Manila twice a day and will eventually increase the frequency by three times a day starting October 8.

The airline currently serves Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Kota Kibalo routes.

Its Davao flight is just one of the first domestic flights under the SEAIR-Tiger Airways Partner Airline Programme along with Cebu route.

The additional domestic route will help create new jobs and boost the tourism sector of Davao.
