It seems like there is no stopping Davao City for reaping numerous awards in 2010. These awards are clear indications that Davao is definitely the most livable city in the Philippines. Below are some of the awards won by Davao City this year.
Global Smoke Free Partnership (GSFP) Award

Davao recently bagged two awards in the recently-concluded 21st Philippine Travel Mart held in Manila.
Philippine Travel Mart is an annual gathering of various tourism operators from the different regions of the Philippines. The event showcases top Philippine travel destinations.
Among the awards won by Davao City are the Best Booth in the Travel Fair City category and the Travel Fair People’s Choice overall champion. The booth features four of Davao’s exciting tourist attractions namely eco- adventure, flaura and fauna, cultural heritage and bountiful harvest. Also featured in the booth are abundance of fruits and different tourism sights.
Travel Mart is organized by the Philippine Tour Operators Association and is considered as the biggest travel, tourism and trade show in the Philippines. Aside from Davao, other places that being promoted during the three-day event are Cagayan de Oro, Palawan, Cebu, Camarines Sur, Boracay and Ilocos.
