Tiger Airways, Singapore’s leading low-cost carrier recently announced that it will be launching Singapore-Davao flight starting November this year. The airline will be using A320 aircraft for this new route and will be flying three flights a week when the service starts.
The airline company is now selling low fare for its Singapore-Davao flight as part of its special introductory offering. Tiger Airways has partner airline arrangement with South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR).
This latest development will surely bring more trade and investment between the cities of Davao and Singapore. The Direct flight from Singapore to Davao is another addition to the growing route portfolio of Tiger Airways.
Aside from Tiger Airways, Silk Air serves Singapore-Davao route 5 times a week.

Another good news! Our local tourism sector should take advantage of this as there are many tourists in Singapore. They can offer packages that will attract tourist to visit Davao using this new route.
I hope they will also offer Davao to Kuala Lumpur or Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia.
Hmm…I am smelling it. The Davao International Airport will be busier in the coming days.

Also add South Korea to Davao flight. I notice that there is an increasing number of Koreans in Davao. This is a good opportunity for our local tourism sector to promote the City to Korean and Singapore markets.

I travel back and forth between Davao City and Angeles City (Clark)Approximately every six weeks. It would be a big relief to be able to fly directly between Davao and Clark. And because there are many Foreigner tourists in AC as well as permanent residents looking for new and different areas in the PI to visit and maybe resettle, like I did, that would invite tourist trade from these foreigners to Davao City.

This is also a good options those who want to travel Singapore direct without going to Manila or Cebu. Especially to nearby Cities and provinces of Davao such as GenSan, Tagum, North and South Cotabato, Sarangani, Davao del Sur and Norte, Compostela, Kidapawan, etc. where a sizeable passengers also travel now because of low fare promos.
